Russell Knox victory in Shanghai

Delighted that Scotsman Russell Knox secured a notable two-stroke victory at the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai.

The 30-year-old world number 85, who was seventh reserve, is the first Scot to win a WGC and had six birdies in a four-under 68 to finish 20 under.

Well done Russell, routing for you. 

New flight connection from London Heathrow to Inverness, Scotland

British Airways have announced a new connection from its main hub at London Heathrow to Inverness in the  Scotland, opening a gateway from the city to the fantastic Highland links courses. 

This is wonderful news for transatlantic passengers wishing to access the championship golf courses of Castle Stuart, Royal Dornoch and Nairn amongst other hidden gems such as Tain, Brora and Fortrose and Rosemarkie. 

The BA flight will depart London Heathrow just before 10.00 hours and arrive Inverness approx 11.30 hours. Golfers can be on the first tee at Castle Stuart by 12.30 hours for a fantastic day on the links. Flights start operating from 3rd May 2016 and will run 7 days a week. 

Nairn Golf Club is a mere 15 mins drive and Royal Dornoch is one hours drive from Inverness City, with luxury accommodation available at either Castle Stuart Golf Links, Kingsmills Hotel or Culloden House, why not treat yourself to a few days away in the Highlands of Scotland.

Executive Golf & Leisure are delighted to be supporting Golfers Against Cancer in Houston, Texas.

Golfers Against Cancer is an all-volunteer charitable organization that raises money by conducting golf tournaments and hosting dinners. Proceeds from these events are used to fund research seeking cures to various cancers.

Executive  Golf & Leisure donated a 4 night stay at Gleneagles, Scotland which raised £25,000 for this worthy cause and we would like to wish Golfers Against Cancer a fantastic golf day at Forest Course at Kingwood and fund raising efforts from the prize giving dinner and auction tonight.
